25 YEARS LATER: Does a "Life" sentence mean there is no room for a Second Chance?

Meet Dennis Salerno.
For the last quarter-century, Dennis has lived behind bars. Many people would have given up. Many would have become bitter. But Dennis did something extraordinary... He grew.
He didn't just "serve time." He spent 25 years turning his life into a testament of what rehabilitation actually looks like.
While inside, Dennis has become:
A Published Author – Writing books on Paralegal Studies, nutrition, and even dog training (available on Amazon!).
A Gifted Artist & Teacher – Teaching other incarcerated men how to paint and draw, helping them find peace in a dark place.
A Mentor – Creating and facilitating programs to help others better themselves so they can one day return to their families.
Dennis is currently serving Life Without Parole (LWOP). Under his current sentence, he will never step foot outside again—regardless of how much he has changed or how much he has given back to the community from inside.
We believe in REDEMPTION. We believe that when a person does the work to change their soul, society should recognize it.
Dennis is currently seeking a commutation from the Governor of Michigan. He has proven he is ready to contribute to the world.
